Dem Supermajority in CA is Gone — Can we Vanquish it Permanently?
You probably saw the ‘supermajority’ San Jose Mercury News story – as least, if you’re a Californian.
The Dem supermajority in the CA Assembly ended when Bob Blumenfield in the 45th resigned his assembly seat to take his seat on the LA City Council.
We have a chance to refuse the Dems a return to that supermajority in a race without an incumbent in Assembly District 45 of California on Sept 17. Chris Kolski placed second in the same race last November.
Would you consider asking your members to help in our race? An email or even a few tweets to your followers, asking them to help with Chris’ online phone bank could help put Chris over the top in this race. Chris has the local GOP’s endorsement, of course, and he’s very well regarded among the Liberty people, too.
Chris’ online phone bank system is so advanced that you’ll want your senior leaders to be familiar with this new tech for use in future campaigns, so encourage them to have a look and make some calls.
So that’s two good reasons to help in Chris’ campaign. But there’s one more: Chris is giving away an Android tablet to the top phone bank/social media producer every week. You can see who the current leaders are on his leaderboard. Donations, of course, are welcome too, however small.
Andy Vidak just proved last month that a Republican can win in CA in a D+22, 53% latino community. Chris has the experience and name recognition to do the same next month.
But the CA GOP is refusing to help in Chris’ race as they did in Andy’s so it’s up to us.
Flex your organization’s electoral muscles during this off-season and help us make that Dem supermajority in Sacramento a distant and diminishing memory.
If you Tweet, Chris’ twitter handle is @VoteKolski …and his shortlink is http://ow.ly/o0sN1
Can’t fix stupid… Too far gone
Why didn’t the GOP back Vidak? or Kolski?
